Ballymoney National School is situated in the village of Ballineen in West Cork. There are 25 pupils attending the school at present. Ballymoney National school is run under the patronage of the Church of Ireland Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross. It is a co-educational school, in the Kinneigh Union of parishes. It is funded by the Department of Education and Skills and fundraising by the parents. The school finances are administered by the Board of Management.
