Photographs of the pupils of Ballymoney National School at the ‘Bandon River Biodiversity Day’ organised by Carbery in the Butterfly Garden on Friday 28th May. The pupils enjoyed a talk by Catherine Seale who is a community water officer with Cork County Council. They also got to see some insects that are living in the river and enjoyed a walk around the park looking at the different biodiversity signs. A big thank you to Aoife Feeney and her colleague Orla from Carbery who kindly organised the event and donated some pollinator plants to our school garden.
